hCG Diet Approved Salads

When it comes to dieting, most people opt for salads because they are healthy and delicious. It is the kind of meal that is approved by most, if not all, diet plans out there.

Salads are also approved by the ever popular hCG diet. In this article, I will teach you different salad recipes that are permitted in Phase 2 of the hCG diet. For those of you who don’t know, the phase 2 diet is the actual diet phase where you eat only 500 calories per day, along with injecting yourself with the hCG hormone.

Now, this hCG diet approved salads are safe to eat every day as they only pack a few calories, but they are definitely packed with a lot of vitamins and minerals. Plus, they also pack a lot of flavors as well.

So, without further ado, here are some hCG diet Approved salads/dressings:

Sweet N Sour Vinaigrette Salad Dressing


  • 1-3 tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 small packet of natural sweetener (Stevia and Xylitol are popular choices)


Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and then drizzle it over a salad of spinach and other hCG diet approved vegetables

Strawberry Vinaigrette


  • Strawberries
  • 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of cayenne (optional)
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • Stevia to taste


Combine all of these ingredients in a food processor. Puree it on medium or medium-high setting until it is smooth.

Blackened Chicken Salad


  • 100g chicken tenders
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • spinach or salad greens


Combine all of the spices in a small bowl and mix it well. Next, rub all the spice mixture on the chicken. Preheat the grill before putting the chicken on it. Carefully grill the chicken until it is fully cooked (making sure that there are no more pink spots). Serve over a bed of spinach and other green vegetables (hCG approved vegetables, of course)

Crunchy Sweet Apple Chicken Salad


  • 100 grams of chicken cooked and diced
  • 1 apple diced (122 g)
  • 3 stalks celery diced (100 g)
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • Dash of cardamom
  • Dash of salt
  • Stevia to taste


Mix all of the ingredients together. Sprinkle with a little bit of Stevia and Cinnamon as well. Chill the mixture for 20 minutes. Serve with a wedge of lemon and enjoy.

These salads and dressing recipes will surely enliven your salad eating experience, especially when you’re on the second phase of the hCG diet.

The second phase may be a little bit unforgiving and most of the time, you will be eating mostly bland foods (because 500 calories a day is not a lot). These salad recipes are approved to be eaten during the phase 2 of the diet. Gone are the days that you will have to suffer eating bland foods.
